Adding or removing domains
Learn how to add or remove domains in your account, and how this affects your billing and domain slot usage.
In DMARCeye, each domain you monitor uses up one domain slot, which is the main billing unit. You can easily add or remove domains from your account at any time — and we’ll adjust your billing accordingly depending on your plan.
Adding a domain
- Go to your DMARC/eye dashboard
- Click “Add Domain”
- Follow the setup instructions (including DNS configuration)
Once a domain is added:
- It immediately occupies a domain slot
- If you’re on a monthly plan, it will affect your next billing cycle
- If you’re on an annual plan, you’ll be charged a pro-rated fee for the remaining billing period
Removing a domain
- Go to your list of domains
- Click the trash icon or “Remove” next to the domain
- Confirm the deletion
After removal:
- The domain will no longer be monitored
- The domain slot it occupied becomes available again
- On a monthly plan, your next bill will reflect the reduced slot count
- On an annual plan, there is no refund, but the slot remains reusable
Important: Even if a domain is misconfigured or not receiving data, it still counts as an occupied slot — billing is based on slots, not activity.
Replacing domains
You can replace one domain with another at any time.
Example: You remove domain-a.com and add domain-b.org — this counts as one slot used, not two.
