When and how we charge you
Learn when charges occur, how domain slots affect your billing, and what happens after your free trial ends.
DMARC/eye charges you based on the number of domain slots in your account at specific billing events. Here’s how it works:
When do we charge you?
- At the end of your 30-day trial — if you choose a plan, the first charge is applied immediately.
- For monthly billing: you are charged at the beginning of each billing cycle, based on how many domain slots are active on that day.
- For annual billing: you are charged once per year, based on the number of domain slots you have at the moment of activation.
- You can view your billing cycle date and plan details in your account settings.
How does billing by domain slot work?
- Each domain slot represents one domain you can monitor.
- If you remove a domain, the slot remains available — and you can assign it to another domain without being charged again.
- We don’t charge for how many domains are “active” — only for how many slots you’re using.
What happens if you add or remove domains during a billing period?
- Monthly billing: Changes affect the next billing cycle only.
- We do not adjust pricing mid-month.
- Annual billing: New slots are charged pro-rata for the remainder of your current term.
- Example: Adding 2 slots with 6 months left = charged for 6/12 of the price.
Trial conversion to paid plan
- If you do nothing at the end of the trial, your account defaults to the Basic plan.
- If you have more than 1 domain, you must upgrade to Scale or Enterprise.
- Your payment method is charged only when you manually subscribe to a plan.
