A suite of free tools to verify your domain’s email authentication records and identify security gaps — no account required.

What are DNS Checkers?

The DNS Tools section provides a set of free utilities for checking the DNS records that underpin email security and deliverability. Each tool focuses on a specific record type and returns an instant analysis — no sign-up or login needed. The tools cover the four main email authentication standards — DMARC, SPF, DKIM, and BIMI — and also include a step-by-step configurator to guide you through creating or updating a DMARC record.

Availability

All tools are accessible in two ways:
  • Public web — no login required, available to anyone in the Free Tools section. Ideal for one-off checks of any domain, including domains you don’t own.
  • In-app — once you’re signed in, every active domain in your account has these checkers built directly into its detail view. The DNS Tools section also lets you scan domains that are not in your account.

Available tools

DMARC

Analyzes your DMARC record — checks policy strength, reporting configuration, and spots gaps that expose your domain to spoofing.

SPF

Validates your SPF record syntax and identifies errors — including exceeding the 10 DNS lookup limit — that reduce deliverability.

DKIM

Looks up DKIM records for your domain and confirms that email signing is correctly published in DNS.

BIMI

Checks your BIMI record and verifies that all components — logo URL, VMC certificate, and DMARC policy — meet compliance requirements.

Configurator

A four-step wizard that guides you from entering a domain to generating a ready-to-publish DMARC record with deployment instructions.

How do the tools work?

All checkers follow the same simple flow: enter a domain name, trigger the check, and receive a structured analysis with actionable recommendations. No installation or technical knowledge required.

When to use them

  • Setting up email authentication for a new domain
  • After changing DNS settings or switching email providers
  • Troubleshooting email deliverability issues
  • Running a routine security audit of your domain
  • Checking domains that are not in your account
All six articles are displayed inline — use the navigation tabs at the top to switch between them: Overview, DMARC Checker, SPF Checker, DKIM Checker, BIMI Checker, and DMARC Configurator. Let me know if you’d like to adjust the tone, add more detail anywhere, or change the structure.
