Roles & permissions: Owner vs Admin vs Member

Understanding roles and permissions in DMARCeye is key to managing your team and controlling access to critical features. Here’s how it works:

Owner

The Owner is the person who originally created the account.

This role has the highest level of access and cannot be changed or transferred (except via request to support).

Owner can:

  • Access all domains, reports, settings, and alerts

  • Invite, remove, or change roles of any team member

  • Manage billing and subscription

  • Create additional accounts

  • Delete the account

Administrator

Administrators help manage the account and the team.

They have full operational access but cannot modify billing or ownership settings.

Administrator can:

  • Invite and manage other team members (except Owners)

  • Access and configure all features, alerts, and settings

  • Manage domains and reports

  • Cannot manage subscription or see billing details

Viewer

Viewers have read-only access to the platform.

Viewer can:
  • See all data: domains, reports, alerts

  • Cannot make any changes

  • Cannot invite users or modify any settings
