Roles & permissions: Owner vs Admin vs Member
Understanding roles and permissions in DMARCeye is key to managing your team and controlling access to critical features. Here’s how it works:
Owner
This role has the highest level of access and cannot be changed or transferred (except via request to support).
Owner can:
-
Access all domains, reports, settings, and alerts
-
Invite, remove, or change roles of any team member
-
Manage billing and subscription
-
Create additional accounts
-
Delete the account
Administrator
They have full operational access but cannot modify billing or ownership settings.
Administrator can:
-
Invite and manage other team members (except Owners)
-
Access and configure all features, alerts, and settings
-
Manage domains and reports
-
Cannot manage subscription or see billing details
Viewer
Viewers have read-only access to the platform.
-
See all data: domains, reports, alerts
-
Cannot make any changes
-
Cannot invite users or modify any settings
