# Adding your first domain

*After your first login — or anytime you open the Domain Wizard — you’ll be guided through a simple step-by-step process to add and configure your domain.*

<Steps>
  <Step title=" Enter Your Domain">
    * Start by entering the domain you want to monitor.
    * Once added, the wizard will guide you through the setup process.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Configure DMARC & DNS Records">
    In this step, you’ll define your DMARC policy and generate the required DNS record.

    To complete this step:

    * Log in to your DNS provider
    * Add the provided **TXT (DMARC) record** to your DNS configuration
    * Save your changes

    If available, you can also use **one-click DNS setup** to configure everything automatically.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Verify & Complete Setup">
    After adding the DNS record, you can proceed with verification.

    <Warning>
      DNS changes are not instant and may take some time to propagate (usually up to a few hours).
    </Warning>

    Because of this:

    * You **can complete the setup even if the domain is not verified yet**
    * The system will automatically detect the record once it becomes available
    * You can return later to check the domain status
  </Step>
</Steps>

## **What Happens Next?**

Once your DNS record is detected:

* Your domain will be fully verified
* DMARC monitoring will begin
* You’ll start receiving DMARC reports in DMARCeye

<Tip>
  If verification doesn’t succeed immediately, don’t worry — this is expected behavior due to DNS propagation delays.
